2015 is gone. Over and done with!
What have I been doing the past year? Pretty much the same as in 2014.
I'm not really the kind of person who makes new year's resolutions either, because it usually only takes a week before they are forgotten about again.
I just like to take the year, the months and the weeks as they come.
Do I feel like doing something specific? Then I'll do it! Do I want to take a break from other things for a while? Fine as well!
And that's what I have been up to in the last quarter of 2015. Taking a break, from my blog in this case. Why? I was so focused on other things I couldn't find the time, nor the energy to bring you something that has actual content. And for those who've watched Bambi in their younger years I'll quickly insert my favorite Thumper quote: 'If you can't say something nice, don't say nothing at all!'
What will 2016 have in store?
Good things, I hope! But just like everything else, I'll have to work hard for them to happen.
First on my list is moving into our house! Me and the - most amazing - boyfriend have been renovating for 2 years now. We went from a house, to a stripped down bunch of walls from what used to be a house to something that's finally starting to look like an actual home! We don't have a date set yet for when we want to move exactly, and still have quite some work to do, but we'll get there!
Simultaneously I'll also be thinking about where I want to be going with this blog. Because since me and the boyfriend will be moving in together, it will also have a big impact on my life, since there will be cooking, cleaning, decorating, ... you name it! So I would like to find a way to incorporate the blog into my day to day life. I especially don't want this to be a monolog about what I bought with money I should've spent otherwise, but a place where people come to be inspired, find ideas and have a chat.
Let's see where my ideas take me!
I'll make sure you get to read about them soon!

Hi Lovies!
Christmas came early this year!
On Thursday the lovely Eline from 'Your Daily Dose Of Me' hosted a very nice event in collaboration with The Bodyshop. We were invited to one of their stores in Antwerp after hours. Welcomed by Eline herself and a wonderful Bodyshop team it was the start of a great evening.
They made sure we had drinks and cupcakes and we could even get our nails and make-up done if we wanted to. All this made it into a very nice event, but even more important were the Bodyshop products.
I myself am a real fan. Their products are affordable and all smell so nice, my mom's favorite is the 'White Musk' perfume, which she started using quite some years ago around Christmas time, therefor whenever I smell it I get in a nostalgic mood and start longing for the end of year festivities.
Using these products always really feels like 'me-time' because these moments of indulgence are planned and looked forward to. Had a rough week? Take a warm bath, use the body scrub and body lotion. Afterwards you'll feel truly re-engergized! And did I already mention you'll smell nice too? ;)
We're also nearing that time of year where you have to start buying presents for loved ones and friends but sometimes also colleagues or people you don't really know that well. When faith decides you are the one to draw that one person's name out of the hat you don't really know, and you have to start looking for a €15 euro present, remember this post! You simply go here, where The Bodyshop helps you decide on what to buy for someone!
One more funfact, I won a price! See the pictures below to see what I picked!
I love this metallic blue nailpolish, which looks great on Natasja.

Hi there,
The time knee- and thigh high boots were a thing you would only see in the red light district has passed, because indeed, there are a lot of better ways to pair these boots with than a babydoll.
I felt like last year we weren't quite there yet with this trend but this year, now fall arrived, it's here!!
Knee high, thigh high, sky high - make your pick.
And so did I! Below you can find some of my favorite looks ♡.
First of all, I love comfort! Therefor this look is high on my must shop list!
An oversized sweater and over knee boots keep you warm and comfy. On colder days you can add stockings, but honestly if I don't have to, I won't. In the first pic they also added a some lace detail that comes peeping from under her sweater, I love it!
The boho look is also one of my favorites because it looks so effortless, yet feminine. Here the over knees can be worn as well as your favorite summer dress if you add a loose sweater over it. To make sure the whole looks warm and fuzzy you can also have your socks peeping over the edge of your boots. For the tougher boho girl: a jeans shirt, skirt and fringe boots and you look like a rockstar!
Of course, knowing how to wear them is one thing, you also have to know where to find them!
Below you can find my choice from Zalando and River Island. Not added on this list is Zara, but you should check them out as well! That's where I bought mine.. ;)
Hello all,
As I said in a previous post, I like comfort! And
as the days get shorter, the nights longer and both day and night a bit colder,
I like being comfortable even more! Because there's one thing that can really
get me in a bad mood, and that's being cold! Everything starts aching and the
energy just gets drawn from your body. ugh..
So, as I was strolling down the Antwerp shopping
street with some of my college friends this weekend I decided it was about time
to get myself a turtle neck sweater! It wasn't long before I found the perfect
one at Forever 21. When I tried it on in the fitting room I had to force myself
to take it off again. It's so, so soft.
Since I still wanted to keep it girly, I'm
wearing a bunny print dress underneath, black stockings and my oxford shoes.
This way I'm always ready to go out; from going to work to a walk to a drink,...
Which is exactly what we did on this lovely sunday we had!
As you can see, neither the sweater nor the dress
is fitted. Adding boots with heels could make the whole look a bit more feminine.
