Hi all,

I'm sorry for being AWAL for a while! I have had some exciting changes in my life which needed my full focus, and of course some getting used to as well! But now I'm fully adjusted and ready to keep you updated again on a regular basis!

So.. Here we go!
Today's post is an autumn look. I actually really like this season! But I think because it also marks the end of summer I block the warm and fuzzy feeling it gives me ;).

I also don't go out enough to enjoy it, to explore all the colors out there.
But last weekend I finally had some daylight left, so me, the hubby and the fur-ball went to one of the forests surrounding our little village. There is also this cornfield that now has lovely yellow flowers which were the perfect photo opportunity to add some extra pep to this post ;).

For once, I didn't go dressed like a forest ranger on my nature walk but I actually wore normal clothes, I'll talk you through the outfit below.

In my search for a warm and cozy winter coat I found this black teddy coat at The Sting, they also had a white variant which I really loved but since the fur-ball doesn't know the difference between white and black I decided not to take the risk!

I'm also wearing a high waist skirt and top, which are both pretty basic items and perfect for every season! The same goes for the boots. All items can be combined or used in different looks, depending on how dressy or comfy you want to be! Also, black skirt on black stockings and black high heel boots = legs for days!

This look I actually wore to a dinner party, but it turns out high waist skirts and huge amounts of food aren't the best combo ;). Unless you want to know what it feels like to wear a corset!

Take care lovelies, talk to you soon!

Hi all,

So, a while ago I went shopping as I was in desperate need of some basics.

I was at that point, that when you pick out an outfit the thought crosses your mind - oh gosh, if I spill something on this now, I won't have anything else to put on without having to change my complete outfit. Meaning two things: I really needed some basics, and I should stop spilling all over everything!

And thus, off I went!
On this shopping spree, H&M had all the answers for me. I found a whole range of amazing blouses, which - how convenient - all fitted me perfectly!

So I bought a few, and the one I'm wearing here is one of them.
At the beginning I wasn't quite sure if it was 'me'. But I knew, if I would see it on someone else, I would punch myself for not buying it. So I did!

I wore it a few days ago and I loved it! You can basically wear it year round, adding a nice wool vest in autumn/wintertime, without a vest in springtime or over your bikini in summer. Simple as that!

For this look I also added my hat, I bought at wear for love a few months ago. It's a cute online store you should really check out! They are based in Breda and if, for ex. you see an item on the site you would really love to try on but can't wait for the delivery because you need it asap? Well then you can contact them and ask if you can come over to try and buy! Ain't that cool?

Also, I bought a dress from them online a while ago and they added the sweetest handwritten note wishing me luck with my beautiful purchase. Aaaaw ♡

The poncho, I very very sneaky borrowed (read: stole) from my mom's closest. She has had if for as long as I  can remember and I've always had my eye on it. Time to pass it on from one generation to the next! ;).

Since it's a very loose blouse, I chose to add a brown, braided, leather belt and tied it around my waist.

Anyway, check it out below, and let me know what you think!

Hi all,

Autumn is here, meaning it's time for the comfiest part of clothing of all times: The sweater.

Now the temperature is going down, it's time to pull them from the back of your closet again. In case you haven't got the right one yet, don't sweat (hehe), stores have plenty of them right now.

I went for this tiger printed item from HM. It's not fitted, but a rather loose one, just the way I like'm. Also, I have a thing for clothes with animals on them, so as soon as I saw this one, it was a done deal.

Blue is for 'summer is gone' and tigers are for 'rauwtch'. Add some light grey jeans and lace-up shoes and you've got your comfy, classy autumn look. Et Voila!

Wearing this, I went shopping in Antwerp yesterday - I also went to take a look at the new Uniqlo store, but more on that later - Eventually I added a heavy gold necklace and traded in my shades for a black pair. Ready for that gorgeous Indian Summer day we had!

Hi all,

Last week I went to the Samsoe Samsoe sample sale.

It was Friday night and I had quite frankly forgot about it, since it had already been quite a hectic week, until Facebook gave me a friendly reminder. So I asked the boyfriend, and of we went.

They had some really nice pieces for some really nice prices! But since summer is now officially gone I decided not to focus on those items too much. I did however have a family party to attend on Saturday, for which I did not yet have an outfit... how convenient, right?

After going through the piles of clothes I stumbled on this black dress. And because, as we all know, you can never have too many black dresses so I tried it on... and fell in love!

It fits like a glove. The skirt feels super smooth and the top part has some gorgeous detail with the deep neckline - which you could close up as well if you wish - and the open back.

The fabric of the skirt is firm enough not to show what you're wearing underneath and the top part, especially the front, covers up your bra nicely. In the back it shines through a bit, but I don't really mind about that.

Take a look at the pics below and thumbs up for Scandinavian Fashion! ♡

To accessorize I went for a body chain from H&M and a vintage leather clutch.
My make-up contained gold and black details as well to match the whole.

Hi all!

I have returned from vacation for about a week now, so it's about time to start reminiscing about the sun, the beach, the trips, ...

Me and the bf traveled to Rhodes, for a one week stay at the Faliraki Blue Sea Resort.
For the first time ever in my vacation history I did not come home fully relaxed and well rested. Somewhere halfway our stay I got sick which also kind of meant the end of my vacation :).

However, we did still have the first part of the week during which we explored the island.
In the coming weeks I will be showing you three places on my blog. Faliraki, Lindos and the old city of Rhodes.

Tonight I'm kicking of the series with Faliraki.
When you land on the island, it takes you about 30 min by bus to get to this little town.
From our hotel we were about 3km from the Faliraki city center, meaning we could take nice evening walks over there whenever we didn't feel like staying at the hotel at night.

If you're planning on partying, you'll def find some places to go. Almost every bar has people on the streets trying to get you inside. If you rather just stroll down the streets, visiting shops and looking for souvenirs, you are also in the right place. We mostly did the second part :).

From the hotels to the city center you can find a very nice trail made out of wooden pallets, right on the beach. It makes it a lot easier to walk since you're not crawling through the sand, and along this trail you can also find some very cosy beachbars. If you head back to the hotel when the sun has already gone down, the walk will be a little harder, since you will have to find your way in complete darkness. Obviously you could also just follow the main street back to your hotel ;).

Also the temperature remains really nice, even at night. It never really dropped under 24°C so an extra vest was never needed. ♡
