Hi all,

So, this weekend was all about enjoying the good things in life!

We celebrated my boyfriends birthday this Saturday (fun fact: he was born on 8/8/'88 - crazy right?) and I booked us a night at the Pentahotel in Leuven.

The Pentahotel is still quite new, and it turned out to definitely be worth a visit when you're looking for a loungy, easy breezy city hotel!

The boyfriend didn't know about my little plan, so I had to sneak our overnight bag in the car.. which turned out to be quite easy since he slept in that morning.. maybe he felt the age difference already? ;)

When we arrived in the city we took a walk down memory lane - the bf used to study here and thus had lived here for some years. I think Leuven never gets boring. New shops have opened each visit and there is almost always a nice little antique market somewhere in the town.

For lunch we tried out Jeroen Meus' Würst, which turned out to be quite nice! And afterwards checked in at the hotel.
